Hello, I'm Stephanie, the founder of Missed Moments Photography, located on the sunny Gold Coast, Australia. A proud Gold Coast native, I share my life with a wonderful husband and two incredible children who mean the world to me.

My journey into photography began as a hobby in 2012, satisfying my craving for creativity. However, it was the birth of my first child that ignited a passion to turn this into a lifelong career. At 36 weeks pregnant with my second child and supported by my family, I made the courageous decision to leave my long-term career and fully immerse myself in the world of photography."

Despite my love for nature and adventure, my weekends now revolve around quality time with my two children. Whether we're bouncing on the trampoline, embarking on family adventures (with Australia Zoo being a favorite), or cozying up for some TV time, these moments are my treasured escapes.

As a work-from-home mom, there's one thing I absolutely can't live without. It might make you laugh, and many parents can relate – it's hands-down Bluey and Paw Patrol! The Heeler family is a godsend, setting the ultimate #parentgoals, and the incredible team of pups comes in a close second. Believe it or not, I even named my son Ryder - talk about Paw Patrol dedication, right? Hahaha.

My passion for photography has always been fueled by the art and skill of capturing moments and memories that last a lifetime. The inspiration for starting Missed Moments Photography struck me in 2012 while sitting on the beach with my family. I observed a bridal party having their photos taken, and the photographer, overly focused on the sand aesthetics, overlooked a picture-perfect moment.

As the bride and groom gazed out to the ocean, reveling in the beauty of their new chapter, I realized the irreplaceable nature of such moments. That was the birth of Missed Moments Photography—a commitment to capturing the essence of fleeting beauty that should never be missed or forgotten.

In addition to being a photographer, I am also a certified Childcare educator, bringing over 10 years of experience in nurturing the growth and development of children aged 6 weeks to 2 years. My deep passion for children's education and development has always been a driving force in my life.

When I became a parent, finding a balance between pursuing my passion and supporting my own children's development became crucial. Photography emerged as the perfect medium, allowing me to connect with the little ones I have dedicated years to, while also providing the support and presence my own little humans need during their formative years of dependence.
