Being a sole photographer in a small business, I limit my monthly bookings to 10 babies to ensure personalized attention to each session.

Newborn photoshoots are most effective when scheduled between 5 to 20 days of the baby's arrival. Beyond this period, settling newborns becomes more challenging, and issues like colic and baby acne may arise.

I understand the challenge of predicting your baby's birthdate which is why when you book, we use your estimated due date as a placeholder. Once your baby is born, please notify me promptly as I will then share my schedule, allowing you to choose a suitable date around your post-birth checkups in the first few weeks.

Your newborn session will take place in my lovely residential studio situated in the Northern Gold Coast suburb of Pimpama, QLD, just a short 5-minute drive from exit 49.

After securing your booking, you will receive exclusive access to a comprehensive prep guide packed with valuable information on what to bring and how to prepare both yourself and your newborn.

Rest assured, I've got everything needed to style your newborn's photo session—from wraps and baskets to bonnets and headbands, and everything in between!

However, it's advisable to bring along the basics, including spare nappies, milk for the baby, and a dummy for soothing. The latter can be particularly helpful during cluster feeding and won't impact any breastfeeding goals.

While it may appear costly at first glance, I prefer to view it this way: these moments are truly irreplaceable. Your investment not only covers the up to 3 hours of time spent in the studio but also encompasses my extensive experience, training, and delicate care of your newborn baby. Additionally, it includes the meticulous hand-retouching of a collection of beautiful images and any products you may choose to invest in.

Short answer: No, not at all!

Long answer: It's never too late to capture beautiful newborn photographs of your little one. Although many newborn photographers prefer sessions under 14 days, I take pride in being fully trained to pose and capture babies beyond this window, up to 6 months of age. Each baby is unique, and we always tailor our approach based on their individual needs.

Absolutely! Siblings and immediate family are more than welcome to be included in some of the photos.

However, safety is my top priority. To ensure a safe environment, I request that only immediate family members (parents and siblings) attend the session. Having too many people in the studio simultaneously can introduce additional safety hazards, and your safety is my utmost concern.

Siblings are invited to participate in their portion of the session and may need to leave afterward. If you desire to include other family members, please reach out to discuss suitable options for your session (additional costs may apply).

I do not provide unedited JPG or raw files, even for an additional fee. I take pride in delivering a comprehensive service, and fully edited images are an integral part of that service. This practice adheres to the professional industry standard.

Certainly! I currently offer the option of Afterpay, allowing you to split your session payment into four equal, bi-weekly installments. For those who prefer not to use a third-party credit service, I also provide pre-session payment plans for those who book their sessions in advance. My goal is to make the experience of creating beautiful family heirlooms as accessible as possible to everyone.
